The Senior Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (ANNP) role at Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust focuses on advanced practice in neonatology, emphasizing autonomy and complex decision-making across clinical care, leadership, education, and research. As a Senior ANNP, you will manage patient care for neonates, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care for infants and their families. You will be responsible for escalating care decisions to Neonatal Consultants as needed, embodying a strong role model for junior staff and contributing to the education of peers.

In this position, you will operate within the Tier 1 and Tier 2 ANNP rota, demonstrating advanced clinical judgement, extensive knowledge in physiology and pathophysiology, and evidence-based practice. You will coordinate care effectively, liaise with various health professionals, and lead initiatives for sustained quality improvements in neonatal care. The role requires a commitment to delivering compassionate care while engaging with stakeholders to enhance services and promote best practices.
