The University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals for the role of Clinical Support Worker in the Emergency Department at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. The position involves supporting and assisting Registered Nurses in providing nursing care to patients, including conducting clinical observations, documenting care, and performing minor injury treatments. While prior experience in acute care is preferred, it is not a requirement, as training and support will be provided.

The role includes a shift system and participation in patient streaming and rapid assessment processes designed to enhance patient experiences. Successful candidates will contribute to both the Emergency Department and the Minor Injury treatment service, which operates from 8 am to 8 pm.
