The Oncology/Hematology Staff Nurse at Swansea Bay University Health Board is responsible for assessing patient care needs and developing comprehensive care plans for oncology/hematology inpatients in Ward 12. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring high standards of individualized care while embracing innovative nursing practices. The role involves caring for patients undergoing treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy, as well as managing palliative care and symptom control.

Ideal candidates will possess enthusiasm for advancing their nursing skills, including central line management and chemotherapy administration, and will benefit from ongoing training and professional development opportunities. The department emphasises teamwork and a supportive environment, valuing compassionate care in a fast-paced setting.
