An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Orthodontic Department at Queens Hospitals as a band 4 Dental nurse on a fixed term contract to cover Maternity leave. We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate about their work and is able to work well as part of an innovative and supportive team that is always looking to improve the service we provide for our patients.
This post is part of the team of Orthopaedic Practitioners within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department providing a casting and splinting service in support of Fracture, Orthopaedic and other Clinicians and Departments within the Trust. To assist the Orthopaedic Practitioners in the delivery of a high standard of expertise in casting and plastering techniques, off the shelf orthotics, basic wound care which includes removal of suture and staples as well as providing patients with relevant information and documentation to support treatment.
