St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) with a passion for palliative care and a strong inclination for teamwork. This role involves providing specialized care for patients and families with complex needs in a community setting, working closely with an integrated team of clinicians. The CNS will share clinical responsibilities with the Hospice Medical Team, focusing on advisory and Care Coordinator functions, and will be involved in assessing, care planning, implementing, and evaluating patient-centered care.

The position demands significant expertise in specialist palliative care, with an emphasis on delivering compassionate and effective support. The Clinical Nurse Specialist will participate in a rota providing seven-day-a-week service, including occasional out-of-hours visits. Additionally, the role includes a blend of management and teaching responsibilities, as well as collaboration with various teams to achieve strategic objectives.
