The Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Rotational Pharmacy Technician, ideal for recently qualified technicians or those about to register. The role involves working within a collaborative team in a busy healthcare environment, providing excellent customer care while developing skills across various pharmacy areas through a rotational program lasting four months per area. Responsibilities include medicines reconciliation, dispensing, and patient counseling in both in-patient and out-patient settings.

Candidates must possess a BTEC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in Pharmacy Services and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. While participation in weekend, bank holiday, and late duty rotations is required, having additional qualifications such as ACPT or MOP is beneficial. The position offers three rotational roles across the Epsom and St Helier sites.

More about the NHS
The National Health Service (NHS) is a cornerstone of healthcare in the United Kingdom, established in 1948 with the simple yet profound principle of providing healthcare to all citizens, free at the point of use. This revolutionary system aimed to ensure that access to medical services would not depend on an individual’s financial situation, a concept that has since become fundamental to British societal values.Learn more...
