Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker for Ward 27 to assist Registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team in implementing patient care plans. The role involves providing personal care such as bathing, toileting, and feeding, as well as performing clerical and domestic tasks to maintain a safe environment. The successful candidate will monitor patients' conditions, using automated devices to take basic observations like temperature and blood pressure, and will be responsible for reporting any changes to a Registered Nurse. Additionally, the role includes training new staff members in their duties.
We are looking for a Clinical Support Worker to join our team on Ward 27 to assist Registered Nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary team in implementing patients' care plan.
The role will also require the successful individual to undertake some clerical and domestic duties to ensure a safe environment.
- Provides personal care to patients e.g. Bathing, toileting, feeding and care of the dying.
- Works in accordance to Trust policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates own duties to new starters and others as appropriate.
- Observes patients and reports any changes to a Registered Nurse.
- Perform basic observation process by using automated device for temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturations and respiratory.
- Take basic patient measurements eg height and weight.
