The role of Work and Health Employment Coach within the Vale of Evesham PCN involves supporting individuals with health-related barriers to employment through the Workwell programme. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with local services and be part of a network of coaches dedicated to helping diverse participants return to work. Key responsibilities include assessing barriers to employment, providing personalized 1:1 coaching, developing action plans, managing a caseload of participants, and making referrals to additional support services as needed. Applicants are encouraged, particularly those with lived experience or strong community ties, and prior coaching or mentoring experience is preferable, though clinical expertise is not required.

This position focuses on early intervention to assist people struggling with health issues that impact their work capabilities, whether they are employed, on sick leave, or seeking new employment opportunities. The role includes conducting assessments, offering holistic support, facilitating access to services, and delivering training to external organisations about the Workwell model. The candidate will be expected to work flexibly across various locations within the PCN and will receive training to enhance their skills in coaching and support.
