The University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Senior Pharmacist – Clinical Commissioning for a fixed-term position of one year. The successful applicant will lead the clinical commissioning agenda for high-cost medicines managed by Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) across the Trust, working within the Medicines Optimisation & Research team. Responsibilities include providing clinical pharmacy services, ensuring compliance with funding confirmations for high-cost drugs, supervising the implementation of related databases, and leading governance and training initiatives. The role involves significant collaboration with various clinical teams and external stakeholders, aiming to optimize pharmaceutical commissioning and develop efficient pathways and drug management strategies.
