The role of "Referrals Hub Clinical Specialist" at Saint Francis Hospice in Romford is designed for an experienced Senior Nurse or Allied Health Professional (AHP) who demonstrates strong leadership skills and a commitment to Person-Centered Palliative Care. Responsibilities include assessing and processing all referrals to the hospice, ensuring safe and effective practices, and enhancing the service user experience. The Clinical Specialist will take a proactive role in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate smooth admission processes and provide high-quality clinical triage and support for individuals with complex palliative care needs.

The post holder will also lead the Referrals Hub team, guiding staff development, operational management, and service delivery improvement. This includes monitoring key performance indicators, managing staffing and resources, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Clinical Specialist will foster partnerships with local healthcare services and engage in ongoing professional development to maintain high standards of care, contribute to service development, and participate in research and quality assurance initiatives.
