The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse (Neonatal) for their Special Care Baby Unit in Barnstaple. This position is ideal for someone with experience as a Band 6 in a Neonatal Unit (LNU/NICU). This is a level 1 unit with 8 designated special care cots, but with some degree of flexibility in providing intensive care and high dependency Cots when needed.

In charge of the ward and to support Junior members of the team as well as student Nurses.
Take part in regular performance appraisal.
The post holder will require resilience to deliver specialist Nursing care in at times, stressful and emotionally demanding environments.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Neonatal Staff Nurse to join our Special care baby unit in Barnstaple.
The role is to promote high standards of care and acts as a role model providing clinical leadership to the Nursing and wider multidisciplinary team.
The post holder will also demonstrate continuing professional development that reflects individual needs, the needs of the team and the needs of the organisation.
