Job Summary: Healthcare Assistant at Ryalls Park Medical Centre & Oaklands Surgery
Symphony Healthcare Services Limited is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for their Yeovil locations, Ryalls Park Medical Centre and Oaklands Surgery. This is a permanent position requiring 33.5 hours of work per week over five days, with a pay rate of £12.25 per hour and an NHS or NEST pension.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct health checks (BMI, urinalysis).
  • Perform ECG and INR monitoring.
  • Undertake Doppler testing, blood pressure monitoring, and phlebotomy.
  • Provide wound care and assist with vaccinations and injections.
  • Assist in patient assessments, health education, and lifestyle advice.
  • Help manage laboratory samples and stock medical supplies.
  • Support GPs during minor procedures and maintain clinical environments.
Requirements: Candidates should have prior experience in primary care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage their own workload while adhering to practice protocols.
This role involves direct supervision from the Lead/Practice Nurse and focuses on supporting the clinical team in delivering quality patient care.
