The Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Switchboard Operator in Luton to join their busy Switchboard Team. The role involves being the initial point of contact for a variety of callers, including patients, relatives, and staff, requiring strong communication and IT skills. Candidates with local knowledge of the hospital's layout and familiarity with IT systems like Pimsi, Excel, Nervecentre, Cleric, and QFM will have an advantage.

The position demands flexibility, as it involves working varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays such as Christmas, with a commitment of 30 hours per week over four days from 9 to 5.
