As part of the Imaging Directorate, which operates 24/7 and has undergone significant investment for modernisation, the successful applicant will play a key role in enhancing patient services and upholding high standards of professionalism. A focus on problem-solving in complex scenarios and encouraging continuous staff training and excellence in patient care is essential for this leadership role.
An exciting opportunity exists to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Radiographer looking to lead and develop the Digital Radiography (DR) service in a large teaching hospital.
The successful candidate must be an inspirational leader demonstrating strong management, communication, team building and organisational skills, and have a passion for excellence in patient care.

We are a designated a Level 1 Trauma Centre and host of the UK's only 20m National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Surgical Reconstruction and Microbiology Research Centre (SRMRC).

The Imaging Directorate provides 24/7 service delivery and has an established track record of service re-design and transformation. The current focus has seen a financial investment of over 3 million to upgrade and modernise the equipment and facilities at each of the hospital sites.
You will need to be an experienced DR radiographer who is dynamic, highly driven, motivated with strong leadership and proven management experience to lead and coordinate a diverse team to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive vision for the development of new services for patients. The successful candidate will be required to lead in further service improvements and expansion, equipment procurement and selection, and training and development of staff. You will need strong communication skills and have an ability to problem solve complex situations.
You will be required to maintain and encourage the highest possible standards of patient care and professionalism.
