The School Nurse will be responsible for overseeing school nursing services in designated schools, taking on a supervisory role for staff nurses. The position requires collaboration with schools, families, and the community to enhance the health of school-aged children, especially those who are vulnerable. Key responsibilities include creating referral pathways, supporting health decisions for children and young people (CYP), and fostering partnerships with health and education agencies.

The post-holder will deliver skilled nursing care, manage a caseload of secondary schools, and assist with primary school management. Applicants must possess a Specialist Community Public Health Qualification in School Nursing and comply with NMC Code requirements.

Additional responsibilities include:
