The University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking experienced Nursing Assistants for various wards and departments at Royal Stoke. The ideal candidates should possess professional care or Nursing Assistant experience, as the positions are not open to new entrants to the field. Flexible full-time and part-time roles are available, but no Bank positions are being recruited at this time.
The Nursing Assistant will be responsible for providing patient care and support, learning skills in assessment and documentation, and collaborating with the healthcare team to enhance patient experiences. The Trust encourages professional development through apprenticeships and training opportunities that could lead to career advancement, including pathways to Nursing Associate and Registered Nurse roles.
Candidates must be available for a full-day assessment on November 25, 2024, which includes a Maths and English test, group discussion, practical test, and informal interview. Due to the practical components, no alternative dates or online interviews will be offered.
