The role involves maintaining temperature records, preparing specific food items (such as soup and gravy), taking and placing patient meal orders on time, and checking food deliveries to set patient trays accordingly. Responsibilities also include washing and sterilizing crockery and cutlery, ensuring a clean kitchen environment, and providing friendly service to patients while catering to individual needs. Additionally, the Host/Hostess will collect, store, and deliver food and beverages to ward areas and serve meals to patients.
