The advertised post is for a substantive consultant in Diagnostic Neuroradiology at Barts Health NHS Trust which will be one of -- new substantive radiology posts to support the new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) for Northeast London which is a CDC exemplar supporting Research, Education and Training for the radiographic Team.
We are looking for a highly enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our existing team of 19 neuroradiologists to help develop the service and to support the active training programme. The post will be based at both The Royal London Hospital and St. Bartholomew's Hospital with one day a week from Mile end Hospital.
The successful applicant should have completed subspecialist training in diagnostic neuroradiology. The successful candidate will join the team of 19 neuroradiologists (including 5 neuro interventional radiologists and 6 head and neck radiologists) currently providing a comprehensive neuroimaging service to the Trust. There is a regional neurosciences Unit, regional head & neck Unit, level 1 Trauma Unit and Hyperacute Stroke Unit all located at the RLH site and Oncology /Cyberknife radiosurgery is located at Barts.
The successful applicant should have completed training in diagnostic radiology and be within 6 months of their CCT. They should have a specialist interest in Diagnostic Neuroradiology.
