Harleston Medical Practice is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join their supportive clinical team. Candidates with leadership aspirations may be considered for a Lead Practice Nurse role, which includes designated time for leadership and administrative tasks. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care, supporting doctors and other healthcare staff, and engaging in chronic disease management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine nursing tasks such as wound care, sutures removal, health checks, venepuncture, cervical smears, immunisations, and chronic disease reviews.
  • Assist GPs during minor procedures and maintain treatment rooms and medical equipment.
  • Participate in infection control and audits, uphold confidentiality, and ensure health and safety protocols are followed.
  • Engage in continual professional development, including maintaining a personal development plan and participating in performance reviews.
