An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary Selby CAMHS team. Selby CAMHS offers getting more help interventions to children and young people within the Selby and rural district. In addition we are commissioned to provide ASC diagnostic assessments and ADHD diagnostic assessments and post-diagnostic support.
As a Family Therapist, you will be providing highly-skilled systemic interventions for the families of young people with severe, complex and persistent mental health problems and/or neurodevelopmental conditions. You will be responsible for in-depth risk-assessments, formulating crisis planning, and providing evidence-based and formulation-driven systemic perspectives to the multidisciplinary team. You will manage a complex caseload, facilitate groups, monitor clinical progress, and engage with young people with a range of mental health needs and developmental difficulties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering family therapy, providing assessments and interventions to young people and their families or support systems. They will also support staff development, training, consultations and input into the multidisciplinary team.
