As a senior leader within the Transfusion team, you will be given a high degree of autonomy and a defined scope of deliverables. As part of the Senior Management Team and will be expected to contribute and influence strategy and bring the benefits of service wide synergies to the team. The postholder will be the responsible Service Owner for all online and offline experiences for our donors as well as systems supporting our internal marketing teams. The role will be expected to develop plans to manage and improve the end-to-end donor experience for the variety of engagement, services and products that make up that experience. Service Owner responsibility will cover the discovery and requirements definition on behalf of donors (through research) for services and products contributing to the donor experience. Service Owner responsibility will also cover the discovery and requirements definition on behalf of internal customers for the technology, systems and applications used by teams to support donor engagement and experience. You will set direction for the service owner team, ensure there is a clear scope for the work, and prioritise and align resources to deliver the organisations strategy for the end-to-end experience of our donors. You will play a key part in the updating of our marketing modernisation through upgrades and implementation of new technology and activities. You will ensure that we are drawing in a wide range of stakeholder views and use your skills to build relationships and influence core decision making. You will deputise for the Director as necessary. The post holder will demonstrate strong leadership as a member of the DX SMT.
