The role of "Assistant Director – Donor Experience Services" at NHS Blood and Transplant involves leading and enhancing the donor experience for blood, organs, tissues, and stem cells. The successful candidate will build national relationships with partner Trusts to improve patient care and will have significant autonomy in their responsibilities as a senior leader within the Transfusion team. Key duties include overseeing online and offline donor experiences, developing plans for engagement and service improvement, conducting research to define donor needs, and managing systems that support internal marketing teams. The postholder will help modernize marketing efforts through technology upgrades and ensure stakeholder involvement in decision-making. Additionally, they will provide leadership within the Donor Experience Senior Management Team and may deputize for the Director when needed.
