The role of Clinical Lead and Teacher Practitioner Pharmacist at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board in Merthyr involves a dynamic blend of clinical practice, education, and leadership. As part of a joint appointment with Swansea University, the successful candidate will work closely with senior pharmacists to develop and implement comprehensive training programs for a large pharmacy team of over 300 staff, including pharmacists and technicians. This position emphasises the development of future pharmacists through teaching undergraduate MPharm students, delivering medicines-related training, and maintaining clinical expertise in a specialist area.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical and organisational skills, relevant teaching experience, and a postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualification. This impactful role also offers opportunities for innovative practices within healthcare delivery, particularly in medicines management.
