(Weekday rate £14.90, Weekend day rate £15.95, Weekday Night rate £17.47, Weekend Night rate £18.98), Time-and-a-half on bank holidays.


Hours:
Include weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.

The organisation provides regular 1:1 clinical supervision and 24/7 emergency on-call support.

Their dedicated and experienced Case Managers are responsible for the support team's day-to-day management. They provide access to mandatory training and brain injury-specific training.

Our client is recruiting Support Workers to join an established 24/7 care team that provides care to a 72-year-old gentleman with an acquired brain injury who lives in his own home in the Sandown area of the Isle of Wight.

The client requires support with all aspects of care and is entirely dependent on others.

  • You will cover a variety of shifts, but mostly afternoon shifts, 14:15 – 18:45.
  • The team follows a monthly rolling rota.
  • Flexibility is required to cover holidays and sickness (days and nights)


Skills And Qualifications


  • Ability to bring your strengths and interests to the team.
  • Must have previous support experience.
  • Must show passion and commitment for the role
  • Experience working with individuals with a brain injury would be an advantage, but it's not essential as support and training are provided.
  • Good sense of humour.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be flexible to provide cover depending on the client's needs and wishes
  • Must have a full, clean driving licence
  • Up-to-date DBS at the enhanced level is required (paid for by the employer)
