By working closely with a wide range of clinical and managerial staff, and providing high standard of administrative support, the post holder will ensure patients receive treatment as soon as possible and ensure national targets are met.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Patient Pathway Coordinator to the join the Breast Surgery services at Guys Hospital.

The Patient Pathway Coordinator will lead on the management of complex breast cancer pathway patients, providing support within the service, ensure that all administrative functions for patients from the time of GP referral to the time of discharge is coordinated in line with specific care pathway instructions to facilitate the smooth running of the patients’ journey. Where a patient has multiple specialist needs, assist the patient in coordinating their pathways to reduce multiple appointments across the Trust.

The post holder is responsible for providing a high standard of professional and patient focused service to a range of Trust-wide specialities and will support the function on a day-to day operational basis.
