Our client, an independent Vets in Barnsley are growing at the moment and are seeking a confident nurse to join their current team of 2 RVN's, 2 SVN's, 2 Vets and a great team of client care team members.

The practice is kitted out to a very high standard with 6 consult rooms, 2 op theatres, digital processing, ultrasound, air dental and QCR laboratory. It's a busy practice so you will be involved with theatre work, laboratory duties, radiography, ward nursing and nurse clinics.

They're seeking a nurse who is enthusiastic, organised and has excellent communication skills. You will also be happy to get involved across the busy practice and undertake various duties. This role will have duty nights when patients are kept in. This is on a rota basis so you must be happy to do inpatient checks on patients through the night.

This role is salaried above local average and our client is very open to personal development and will encourage and fund your CPD. Plus some other nice perks and a friendly environment to work in!

  • You will hold the right to work in the UK
  • You will be a Qualified and Registered Veterinary Nurse
  • You'll have great customer skills as well as high standards clinical care skills
  • You will be happy to apply your skills across a busy practice
