Band 3: £23,159 to £24,701 a year per annum, pro rata  PERMANENT

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and committed individual to join a very busy Catering Department.

Based at Prince Phillip Hospital you will have the day to day responsibility for providing front line supervision support to all catering staff involved in food service and food production for staff, visitors and patients.

Applicants will preferably have some supervisory qualifications or a proven track record of supervising a large staff group. Due to the nature of the job, a professional cooking background is desirable for this role in order to be able to provide patient feeding and retail dishes.

Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills together with a flexible approach to the needs of the service are essential.The post holder will work a 37.5 hour week with a requirement to work unsociable hours and weekends.
