Business Support Admin Assistant – Band 2



Hours: 24 hours per week



Location: Summerfield House


The Business Support Hub are looking for an experienced administrator to fill an interesting and varied role supporting the work of the Public Health Directorate.


We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated person who has excellent IT and keyboard skills. The successful candidate will be a confident team player who is able to work with minimal supervision and possess the ability to prioritise their daily workload meeting the varied service demands. You must be familiar with Microsoft Office and have the ability to develop additional IT skills as required.


This is a diverse and demanding role, working with staff at all levels of the directorate in a high pressure environment which requires a high degree of confidentiality and good communication skills. This role will offer considerable job satisfaction to the right person.

Hours will be worked flexibly over 5 days Monday – Friday with a combination of both Morning (09:00 – 14:00) and Afternoon (12:00 – 17:00) shifts.

This post will be predominately office based.
