We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join in our Community Mental Health Team as a Deputy Team Lead.

This role is within the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), a well-established multi-disciplinary team, consisting of Consultant Psychiatrists, Nurses and Health Care Support Workers, Occupational Therapists and Psychologists. The teams provide face to face assessments and care for service users referred via the Central Access Point, In-patients, and Crises Teams.

We are looking for exceptional Band 6 who is able to demonstrate their clinical experience in managing different mental health conditions, commitment and leadership skills, motivation to improve patient experience and care and contribute to team building and staff development.

The successful candidate will be expected to manage a caseload of both functional and organic patients as well as being able to demonstrate the same core values as our organisation; Compassion, Respect, Trust, and Integrity in all aspects of their work.

The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of evidenced based care to a group of clients/service users according to changing healthcare needs and varying levels of complexity. Being also responsible for the allocation of clients/service users to nursing staff and the delegation of duties and care priorities to the multi disciplinary team in the absence of the person with continuing responsibility.
