What better time than now to come and join our vibrant and friendly Community Dental Teams in the beautiful county of Dorset.

We are delighted to extend an invite to a Receptionist/Administrator to join our Consultant-led Special Care Dentistry and Paediatric Dentistry work. You will be based at our new, purpose built 6 chair clinic in Poole, working Monday, Tuesdays and Fridays.

As part of our reception and administration team you will be welcoming our special cohort of patients, adults and children, and their carers/relatives for their appointments at our clinic in Poole.

Our patients are those with dental needs outside of general dental practice (GDP) care, who come to us for a variety of treatments, including general anaesthesia and domiciliary visits.

A pivotal member of the service, you will be working alongside, and supporting, our team of dentists, dental therapists, dental nurses and administration colleagues.

In welcoming our patients, carers and relatives, you will using your excellent customer care skills where your positive and proactive approach will help you communicate effectively with, giving that extra time and attention to those who need it.

You will be working closely with your reception colleagues, and also establishing close working relationships with your colleagues in the Single Point of Access, ensuring a smooth patient journey through our service.

Collecting, and explaining to patients where necessary, the appropriate payments for their treatment as per the NHS Business Services Authority guidelines.
