Band 3: £22,816 to £24,336 a year Per annum, pro rata if part-time  FIXED TERM

Exciting opportunities within Acute Assessment and Frailty Team (AAFT) have arisen! After having successfully recruited TWO new Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialists, we ae now recruiting for recruiting for TWO Band 3 Frailty Healthcare Assistants (HCA) and a 15-month fixed-term Band 7 Frailty Nurse. Working alongside Nursing and Therapy staff, you will be working in multiple environments, such as ED and wards, to promote robust and timely patient discharge.

For the Healthcare Assistant roles, we are looking for dynamic, confident individuals with medical, elderly care, frailty or SDEC experience to provide specialist frailty care, as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will support the assessment, planning and implementation of high-quality care within Milton Keynes University Hospital. Additionally, fundamental skill is required to complete patient observations and ECG's independently, with the ability to escalate any abnormalities appropriately.

This service provides a high level of holistic assessment and care for those with frailty in our Emergency Department, Frailty SDEC and within the hospital.

Successful applicants will show empathy and a passion for providing dignified and holistic care.

Good communication and time management skills are required, and you should be able to work autonomously and as part of a team. Furthermore, successful applicants will get the opportunity to attend our Frailty HCA study day.
