The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained

You will be supporting him at his fun filled family home engaging in general play and assisting him with accessing the community.
He requires committed and reliable individuals, who he and his family can build a strong trusting relationship with.
Freddie is a happy, very smiley 12-year-old boy who responds well to his care team and thrives off their interactions. He is developing each day and achieving more with the support of his carers and family.
He can express his needs with the help of his communication aids, enjoys his arts and crafts at home, loves socialising with his family and friends and loves going out as much as possible.
It is important to Freddie and his family that he makes his own decisions, and we look for our carers to help support and encourage him while enhancing his everyday life.

We require you to have some care experience that includes providing personal care, moving and positioning but we offer full comprehensive training with his clinical care needs: This can include but is not limited to:

Full Time and Part time contracts can also be offered for this position 24 - 36 hours per week

Sundays: £17.00 per hour (Approx. £204 per 12 hour shift)
Bank Holiday: £18.50 per hour (Approx. £222 per 12 hour shift)
