We are offering an exciting opportunity to complete a Lymphoedema qualification alongside clinical activity to develop into the role of a Specialist Lymphoedema Practitioner on a fully funded Programme.
The East Lancashire Lymphoedema service covers the geographical footprint of Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale, Hyndburn, Ribblesdale, Blackburn and Darwen.
Clinics are based within Accrington and Blackburn Health centres, and we offer patients home visits for those who are housebound or with palliative needs.
It is essential that the post holder is a car driver with access to a vehicle for work.
We offer a range of treatments which embrace the latest technologies and equipment.
Please note that your ongoing employment would be subject to successful completion of the development programme, with the expected timeframe of 18-24 months.
Full time or part time options available dependent upon the applicant.
Assists the Clinical Team Leader in care delivery to patients living with a long-term condition - Lymphoedema.
Deliver individualised patient centred care and empowering patients.
Be Involved in patient and staff education.
You will provide a high standard of holistic assessment and care planning following best practice guidance in Lymphoedema.

The ELHT Lymphoedema service has been established since 2008, we are a small team with lots of specialist Lymphedema knowledge.
We treat patients with uncomplicated and complicated Lymphoedema which can affect any part of the body. This makes our job interesting as we are involved in educational opportunities with patients and colleagues and are passionate about innovative ways of working.
We work Monday to Friday 8.30-16.30pm, excluding bank holiday's.
