An exciting opportunity for has arisen for a Band 6 Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Team at University Hospital Sussex NHS Foundations Trust in Worthing Hospital who provide outstanding care for patients with cancer. We are a friendly cohesive team and require a focused, committed, enthusiastic individual.
You must be a motivated individual who is trained in administration of SACT, with a flexible approach to work and will be a vital part of the SACT team in helping to deliver high level services to patients with cancer, whilst supporting the Senior Sister on the unit.

Balcombe ward provided inpatient services for haematology patients including systemic anti cancer treatments and supportive therapies.
The successful applicant will have been qualified in SACT administration for a substantial time and be extremely competent in calculation and IV drug administration.
This individual must have been working at a senior band 5 level and have excellent communication skills. The unit has a dedicated clinical practice educator providing opportunity for staff to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to progress in this rapidly expanding and diverse speciality.
