Developing new clinical materials, leaflets, and handouts for use with clients, families and staff involved in personality disorder services
IMPART iscomposed of friendly, busy, and innovative staff delivering third wave CBT evidence based psychological therapies to high risk clients with difficulties consistent with a personality disorder across NELFT. We are seeking staff with knowledge of CBT and/or DBT who would like to develop their expertise in working with complex trauma (PD) in our community based service. This post is ideal for a newly qualified psychologist looking to develop expertise in working with complex presentations. Training in CBT for PD will be provided by BABCP accredited CBT therapists and trainers. Training in DBT will be provided by a consultant DBT trainer. Opportunities exist for training in ACT, CFT, and NET.
We work with a hybrid model, allowing staff to combine working on site with virtual working, thus supporting for flexibility and a better work/life balance.
IMPART is closely linked to the psychology department at University College London, and staff participate in supporting the doctorate in clinical psychology through supervision of trainees, reflective practice facilitation, teaching, and research. IMPART staff benefit from a wide range of CPD available through UCL.
IMPARTis one of the three IAPT SMI demonstration sites for NHS England, thus we are seeking applicants with some experience of working with individuals complex needs and difficulties consistent with a personality disorder, and interested in expanding the evidence base for effective services.
