Be expected to provide teaching to FY1s, nursing staff and undergraduate students.
We are seeking qualified candidates to join our SHO team on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for a permanent position. We offer high-quality training and support for special interest training whenever possible. You will have the opportunity to participate in minor and intermediate supervised surgeries, as well as engage in research and audit projects aimed at publication. These positions are perfect for those preparing for Core Training, international medical graduates, individuals looking to build a robust portfolio, or those aiming for ST3 entry. Our department has a strong track record of successful entries into national selection programs.
The Post Holder Will
- Provide care of acute patients under the guidance of the senior staff and will include assisting the consultants at outpatient clinics and theatre sessions, and operating under supervision
- Be expected to provide teaching to FY1s, nursing staff and undergraduate students
- Be expected to participate in audits and research as arranged by the firm.
