An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic rehabilitation support worker to join our primary care team within the health centre at HMP Glenochil, NHS Forth Valley.
This is a diverse role which involves the day to day delivery of healthcare support to a population who have a comprehensive range of physical, psychological, substance misuse and social problems. The Rehabilitation Support Worker will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to assist in the implementation of individualised rehabilitation programmes within the prison environment, under the guidance of professionally qualified staff. This involves using a variety of skills to carry out tasks delegated by nursing staff, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech & language therapists.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
