Exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Lead Dental Nurse looking to join our state-of-the-art 3 surgery private dental practice in Barnet. Working with a highly-skilled multi-disciplinary team to include General Dentists, various specialists and Implant Surgeons.

The Practice


The practice has a contemporary ambience comprising of state-of-the-art dental surgeries equipped with all the latest equipment and is located on a busy high street with close public transport links. The practice offers the full array of dental services ranging from simple to complex cosmetic & restorative dentistry, periodontics, maxillo-facial services, orthodontics, sedation, implants, facial rejuvenation, digital dentistry and more.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide chairside assistance (min 2 days per week)
  • Supervise and lead a team of dental nurses, providing guidance and support
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dental nursing team
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and other relevant regulations
  • Manage the dental nursing staff schedule and workflow
  • Train and mentor junior dental nurses
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed
  • Collaborate with other members of the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience
  • Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and service delivery


Essential Requirements:


  • GDC Registration essential
  • 7+ years experience in a private / mixed dental practice
  • 2+ years experience leading a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Can-do attitude with a focus on providing excellent patient care
  • Personable and friendly chair-side manner
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: £30 160 - £ 38 280 per annum

Pattern: Monday to Friday (Alternative Saturdays)

The salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to the scope required, unique relevant experience and job related skills. At Zental, cash salary is only one component of our Total Rewards Package. Paid performance incentives are also included for eligible roles.
