Band 5 - POD 4 Dermatology
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to support our team within POD 4. We are looking for an ambitious creative thinker who is able to use their own initiative to solve problems, someone who will put patients at the heart of everything they do.
The post holder will provide senior support and expert knowledge to the team as well as supporting our patient pathway coordinators as other administrative staff within the Trust.
The team leader will oversee all staff management and administrative and clerical processes to enable a high quality, effective, patient focused service to be delivered. The post holder will ensure achievement of all performance targets for the administrative team and will have the ability to resolve local issues.
The role will work closely with clinicians including senior Consultants and the Operations Manager to ensure the effective running of the service.
The ideal candidate will have excellent people and communication skills and will enjoy working in a busy, challenging environment.

The Patient Pathway Team Leader will provide senior support and expert knowledge to the team of Assistant Patient Coordinators (APPC) and Patient Pathway Coordinators (PPC’s). The team leader will oversee all administrative and clerical processes to ensure the delivery of an efficient, high quality,
effective and patient centred service. The post holder will ensure that standard operating procedures are followed in
order to achieve all performance targets including Cancer Waits.
