We are looking for a Dispensary Assistant to join our team in our Village Green pharmacy in High Lane, Stockport.
The hours of this position will be 24 hours per week, Wednesday and Friday, 9am to 6pm (with an hour for lunch), Thursday, 9am to 1pm and Saturday, 9am to 1pm.
The Role Will Include
- Carry out dispensing duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist manager
- Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner
- Respond appropriately to customer needs, politely and efficiently, by asking appropriate questions, following the Standard Operating Procedures for Sale of Medicines and Supporting Self-care.
- To maintain the pharmacy to a high standard.
- To monitor stock levels and adapt orders appropriately.
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Be qualified to NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services
- Have previous community pharmacy or retail experience
- Be willing to undertake the relevant training in Pharmacy Services if necessary
- Be able to deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team
We are looking for a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, highly organised and be passionate about helping people.
