Band 3: £27,948 to £29,468 a year p.a inc HCA pro rota  PERMANENT 

To assist with patient nutritional needs eating, drinking, menu selection, meal delivery and special diets according to the individual patients needs

To assist registered professionals in the assessment, admission and discharge and handover of patients including any necessary risk assessments

To escort patients and families to other departments within the hospital as required

To participate in maintaining standards of hygiene, cleanliness and infection control, reporting problems as appropriate

To be competent in the making of complex infant feeds

Recognise and avoid situations that might be detrimental to the health and wellbeing of individuals

Beach ward is a busy paediatric ward that cares for children with renal and urology conditions. The special feed unit that caters for the whole of the Evelinais also part of Beach ward

We are a specialised children's ward, the role will facilitate the smooth running of the ward, the successful candidate will be pivotal in maintaining the ward environment and supplies and supporting the nursing staff to provide excellent clinical care
