As an Occupational Therapist you'll provide person-centred functional analysis and interventions, through the enactment of social care legislation and local government requirements.

Reablement is a strengths-based short-term assessment and support service, aiming to help the patient maintain or regain as much independence in activities of daily living.

You'll work alongside Occupational Therapists, practitioners, carers, sensory staff, business support and operational management. You'll benefit from the support of working in a team who have a wide range of experience and knowledge, with a combination of colleagues who have spent a long career in Hampshire, and some who are newer to the service.

Our team ethos is about working together and supporting each other to provide the best level of care to the people we care for.

Through service redesign we have ensured all staff have the benefit of Advanced Practitioners, Consultants, and a Lead Occupational Therapist to support excellent standards of practice across both the Reablement Service and the wider directorate. This is encompassed by the four pillars of professional practice, facilitation of learning, leadership and education, research and development. (RCOT 2021).
