ITU at Newham University Hospital is an 12 bedded critical care unit which cares for level 2 and level 3 patients; we are looking for a full time health care assistant to join our busy and dynamic multi-disciplinary team.

The applicant must be a self-motivated person to join our team of staff and be able to work with minimal supervision once trained. Experience in an acute hospital setting is essential.

The Nursing Assistant works under the direction or supervision of qualified nurses/midwives to implement care planned by Registered Professionals. The Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) is proactive in monitoring and anticipating patients’ needs within the boundaries of the Job Description
