NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week. The shift pattern is to be confirmed-15 hours/week.

This post is to cover the new office premises for the Gender Service in Candleriggs.

The post holder will complete training and induction at our Sandyford Central Base then be based at the Gender offices in Candleriggs. The post forms part of the business support team and provides administrative and secretarial service to the multi-disciplinary team as required. The post holder is expected to work across more than one site when required.

Within Sexual Health Services you will provide an admin and secretarial service to the multi-disciplinary team. The post involves reception duties, dealing with enquiries through our Telephone system, data input, record management, reception, maintain a stick of office supplies and mail duties.

With a flexible approach, you should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. be able to prioritise workloads, accurately input clinical and non-clinical data and be an effective team player.

The post holder will also support the generic functions and duties administered within the wider administration and business support selection as required over the city.
