We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly

motivated Patient Flow Coordinator/Bed Manager to

join our busy Clinical Site Team at St. Bartholomew’s

Hospital. You will support this team and site

operations to ensure challenges are given responsive

attention team to effectively ensure the site patient flow

is maintained, engaging with both our internal and

external stakeholders as well as all other hospitals part

of Barts Health.

This role is vital in the delivery of creating effective

patient flow, operational performance, support to

clinical colleagues and the site leadership teams to

perform to a very high standard. We require someone

who is a team player, with excellent communication

Patient Flow coordinator/Bed Manager role provides.

These individual qualities will provide the foundation for

you to lead within speciality flow at one of the finest

hospitals in London and make sure we are ready to

give our patients the best care possible around the

clock, 24 hours a day. St Bartholomew’s Hospital hosts

the London Heart Attack Centre and is a tertiary cancer

referral centre for cancer for East London and North

East Essex. In return we will encourage you to develop

at all levels within this specialised healthcare

professional role through bespoke appraisal.

Patient Flow Coordinators/Bed Managers will provide

support and creative placement of patients within safe

clinical areas, with guidance from the Patient Flow

Manager or duty Clinical Site Manager. All of the Site

team have to consider the global coordination of the

hospital site and speciality patient flow, working with

the Head of Site Management to oversee 24/7 flow.

The Patient Flow Coordinators/Bed Managers will

respond to enquiries over email, Bleep or via the

telephone, whilst using all our WeCare values to

deliver a high standard of customer service.
