We are seeking a well-motivated and forward thinking Physiotherapist

to join our large dynamic physiotherapy team

You will have the opportunity to develop both clinically and managerially within a friendly and supportive environment where excellence and commitment to trust values is encouraged.

We have 5 rotations working across:

ED

Acute Stroke

Early Supported Discharge (ESD)

Medical

Community Inpatient Rehab - farnham

As a senior clinician you will be involved in the supervision, education and appraisal of physiotherapists, support staff and students.

The post holder will be required to work their hours over a seven day pattern and participate in the evening on call respiratory rota

  • To complete 9 monthly rotations through Stroke Unit/Neuro, Stroke Early Supported Discharge (ESD), Farnham Community Hospital Rehab wards, Emergency Department (ED), Medical Wards

  • To provide a high standard physiotherapy service in assessing and treating patients who may have an acute, complex presentation.

  • To work alongside and communicate with Primary care providers and community services to ensure a safe rapid assessment and discharge of patients in an acute, fast paced environment.

  • To supervise and teach recently qualified physiotherapists / technicians / assistants and students and be involved in teaching MDT staff.

  • To participate in CPD and other departmental activities.
