To provide strong clinical leadership to the endoscopy service, leading and managing a clinical team and championing the delivery of the highest quality care: care that is patient-centred, evidence-based, brand defining and innovative; delivered by a trained, motivated, and compassionate team; in line with organisational, regulatory and governance requirements. As a clinical leader, support the implementation of local strategy, role-model and champion clinical excellence and where appropriate deputise for the Theatre Manager in their absence. As a Clinical Leader, you will:
Lead and champion patient safety within the endoscopy service, seeking out potential issues and encouraging staff to call out and report safety concerns. Lead and promote governance activity, championing clinical effectiveness and ensuring full compliance with Nuffield Health's Quality governance framework and national standards, e.g. CQC/HIW/HIS/JAG/BSG Regulation, fundamentals of care, professional standards and evidence-based guidelines. With support from the Director of Clinical Services, achieve JAG accreditation. Previous experience in a senior position. Provide clinical expertise within Endoscopy area and act as a resource.
