Apple Grove
is a specialist residential transition service in Somerset, for autistic adults. Our transition services are a stepping stone for people who need support to develop further skills, enabling a move into community-based provision. Our high-quality care and support enable people to acquire the skills to develop their independence and live a fulfilled life.
We have a great team filled with people who have a passion to help the people we support achieve their goals. We will help them gain vital skills to enable them to build for their future in Supported Living services within the Community.
Somerset Court
is currently home to 35 autistic adults in six separate houses. Set in a large site near Brent Knoll in Somerset, it is our oldest service for adults. The people we support and their families are at the heart of every step of what we do, including giving people access to an independent advocate if they want and need one.
Ideally, you will have a background in supporting autistic people if not, we have a fantastic training programme that will get you on your way to achieving a fulfilling job that will beat most out there.
Hours of Work:
Flexible hours available to suit your commitments as bank worker you are able to choose shifts as they become available . We promote a flexible rota system to create a healthy work/life balance for our staff.
The Role Includes
- Helping individuals achieve independence and personal goals
- Supporting and transporting individuals to integrate into their community
- Develop individuals’ life skills, vocational, educational and creative skills
