Description Of Department


The Action Fraud National Economic Crime Victim Care Unit (AF-NECVCU) is the first unit in the country to provide a bespoke service to victims of economic crime. The AF-NECVCU tailor victims’ needs in a professional, sensitive and empathetic manner to support recovery and prevent re-victimisation through its core values; Engagement, Support and Empowerment.


Engagement
: Advice is tailored to the victims’ needs, we collaborate with partner agencies and engage with the public.


Support:
Providing focussed and targeted engagement to deal with the Victims needs in an Empathetic, Sensitive and Compassionate way with Fairness and Dignity.


Empowerment
: We are respectful and champion the victims’ needs, providing confidence and reassurance

The application and interview will be tested under Level 2 of the College of Policing Competency and Values Framework.

The successful candidate will help drive performance and service improvement in the AF-NECVCU by collating, evaluating and analysing available data, assessing performance against key performance indicators and making recommendations for service improvement for consideration by AF-NECVCU management.

The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the relevant data is captured and presented in an appropriate manner to support the performance reporting requirements to key funders, including the Home Office at the appropriate boards..
