Job title - Senior Dentist


Salary - Band B - £74,126- £86,701


Location - Princess Royal HC


37.5 hours (would consider part time)



Locala Dental Care provides comprehensive dental care for children and adults with special needs, and for other priority groups, across Calderdale and Kirklees.

We have a vacancy for a salaried clinician to provide care for children and adults who cannot access the General Dental Service. This post involves providing high quality care to children and adults including those with complex medical co-morbidities, learning difficulties, patient management issues, and complex dental needs in Huddersfield and Halifax. Care will be provided in community clinics and in domiciliary settings. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Equally important is the ability to build good working relationships and be an effective team player. You will be supported by specialist clinicians in paediatric and special care dentistry and encouraged to develop your skills and learning.

The successful applicants must be fully registered with the General Dental Council and have completed vocational training, be able to obtain a Performer Number & pin number to work within NHS Primary Care Dentistry, hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle due to the requirement for regular travel. The posts will require the relevant disclosure check with the Criminal Records Bureau.
