We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Recovery Worker to be the one of the first to join our team at HMP Millsike, a brand new Category C men's prison, located in the village of Full Sutton near York
HMP Millsike will have an operational capacity of 1500 people who will spend their sentences learning the skills they need to find work on release as part of the governments drive to cut reoffending. The prison site is currently under construction and Practice Plus Group were recently awarded the healthcare contract to begin delivering services in April 2025.

Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary of up to £43,000 per annum depending on experience.

As a Lead Recovery Worker, your responsibilities will vary. You will be working with and managing other members of the team that you are part of, assessing needs of patients and assessing risks accordingly. You will provide outstanding evidence based care to a case load of psycho social patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them. You will provide a programme of psycho social interventions, along with information and advice on substance misuse related concerns.
